Features / Face-Recognition Attendance
Attendance that outlasts the internet
Members check in with their face — no cards to forget, no registers to maintain. An on-site LAN bridge keeps attendance running through internet outages and syncs when the connection returns.

01What you get
Everything in Face-Recognition Attendance
Face-recognition check-in
Contactless, front-desk-free check-in. Members walk in, the camera recognises them, attendance is recorded.
On-site LAN bridge
Recognition runs on a bridge device inside your gym's network — check-ins don't depend on your broadband being up.
Outage-proof syncing
If the internet drops, attendance keeps recording locally and syncs to FitSync automatically once you're back online.
Feeds the member timeline
Check-ins appear in each member's unified activity timeline alongside payments and follow-ups.
Manual check-in too
Front desk can check members in from the member page — useful for guests, trials, or camera-shy members.
Attendance insight
Spot irregular members early and trigger "irregular member" follow-ups before they lapse and cancel.
02Deep dive
Why an on-site bridge matters in India
Broadband drops, power cuts and patchy connectivity are a daily reality. Cloud-only attendance systems stop dead the moment your connection does — members pile up at the door and staff fall back to paper. FitSync's recognition runs locally on your LAN, so the door keeps moving.
- Recognition happens inside your gym, on your network
- Local queue stores check-ins during outages
- Automatic sync when connectivity returns — no manual entry
- No per-check-in cloud latency at peak hours
03Deep dive
Attendance that drives retention, not just records
Attendance is only useful if someone acts on it. Because check-ins live in the same system as follow-ups, irregular members can be surfaced and assigned as "irregular member" follow-ups to your sales team — before they become inactive members.
- Irregular-member follow-up type built into the follow-up grid
- Attendance visible on the member detail page
- Win-back starts while the member is still reachable

Straight answers
What happens to attendance when my internet goes down?
Nothing stops. The LAN bridge inside your gym keeps recognising members and recording check-ins locally. When the connection returns, everything syncs to FitSync automatically.
Do members need to carry a card or phone to check in?
No. Face recognition is contactless — members just walk in. Front desk can also check anyone in manually from their member page when needed.
What hardware do I need, and what does it cost?
A camera and the FitSync LAN bridge device on your gym's local network. We help you source it, and it appears as a clear one-time line in your quote — no surprises later. The hardware is optional: FitSync works fully without it, with manual check-in from the member page, and you can add face recognition whenever you're ready.
